cont'd from previous post..
obs [first day]so found out that i was in rajar and the majority was made up of three seveners and only a handful of ppl from 3/4. olivia and jiaen were in my watch! and we were introduced to our male instructor, choon. yupx so we started off with some introduction and games.
we had the "grouping" game and this game in which the whole group have to pass this soft toy cow around, shouting the next person's name. [no repeat of names and everyone must have a turn to hold the cow] we have to set our own target time to complete this task and challenge ourselves further each time we succeed by reducing the time by half. so as the time passed, we had an almost impossible aim of 3 or 4 seconds? hmm we had much difficulty n it required lotsa teamwork. after many failed attempts, our brilliant olivia thought of having everyone's finger touching the cow and us shouting "RAJA!". so we still succeeded in the end. *sense of achievement* well, this was the game which triggered the hidden team spirit in us and gradually led us to becoming a
happening team!
well i fadely remember settling down in our "5-star hotel" at the top of the hill after dat. introduced to our partner watch, ghandi. surrendering my handphone [was rather sad cos i wont be able to contact my parents in china =(], wallet, keys. we were also brought to our beds, the store [where all our equipment lie], etc. soon, it was lunch time! n we went off to the canteen where we had this locker thingy in which we have our plates, bowls, cultery and everything inside. after washing everything, off we go to have our lunch. hm oh yah forgot to mention that peiyi was our IC for the first day (: after our great lunch, we set off to learn all about kayaking!

kayaking rocks
on the first day, on the first day arh! i enjoyed learning the paddling and everything. and we had to carry the heavy kayaks to the beach and after some practices and exercises.. like testing our life jackets by gettting in a circle and lie back floating in the water.. ahh so shuang. okay so finally had our chance to kayak! and we went into the water, jumped into our kayak and we went rowing! so we were practising our strokes around in the water. ahh so fun, we know that we are near shore and we are just rowing about so freely and not tiring at all.
den we had the capsizing drill! yayy. we saved peiyi and dion so successfully! hmm den mi and olivia cant seem to capsize properly. we rock here and rock there still cant flip over. and after much trying we managed to capsize! and we blew our whistle for help and peiyi and dion came to our rescue! funn lar. it's so nice to save someone and be saved. ((: hehe and when it was time to go in the evening, we were so reluctant..
den bathed, changed, had dinner, some lame talk on medical stuff [almost slept cos of lack of sleep] and packed our things for land expedition on the next day and off we went to bed at 11pm (lights off! =)) zzzz.. the sleep wasnt too bad, just that i din dare to flip around and had to curl up in a corner cos i cant help thinking bout the dirty stuff on the bedsheets underneath the clean ones. okayy nvm. zzzz..

okie finally back blogging after months. hmm march hols now. obs finally over after one week at pulau ubin. had lotsa mosquito bites, bruises and everything. ahh great to be back at
home. so comfy and nice and and and.. bein at home rocks la. but obs wasnt too bad too..
outward bound singaporeokay we were in residential. well, mixed feelings. most of the three seveners i think really wanted to be in mobile as we heard it would be more tough, exciting, fun.. so most were rather disappointed. but on the other hand, it would perhaps be a blessing cos we need not suffer so much? have permanent shelters over our head,
food served on our plates.. yepp so i din really mind being in residential.
so first day, we arrived at punggol jetty with our big heavy bags and just sat for our turn to board the boat over to the island. were singing the "boring" song wif tiffany cos it was rather dry there waiting with some occasional rains in the sun [foxes' wedding] haha yyupp so finally got onto the boat and off we go to the island. arrived there at the multipurpose hall and we got into our new groups. my group->
